The new JR idler pullies are much lighter than the old ones. I also changed ALL my belts. the SC belt was pretty thrashed, I don't think it would have made it another month.

BTW my new air tools make this stuff so much easier.

How did you get your air tool with changing the tensioner and belts? When i changed my tensioner a few week ago, i couldn't use the air tools at all. Well, i could have used the air tool for the alternator pulley, but hardly worth taking the stuff out for just 1 nut hee hee.

Or is there better air tools that i dont know of yet? hee hee

Shawn at moss motors (AKA JR) is the only person to talk too. IMO.

To use your air tools better, you can drop the motor down 1 inch, loosing the two nuts, and 1 14mm bolt. DO NOT TOTALLY REMOVE THEM, just loosen them a lot. Then you can remove the alternator idler pulley from the wheel well.

The supercharger idler pulley, must be completely removed, but you can take it off.

I simply LOVE the air tools though. I've got a 6.5 hp 30 gallon compressor, and have 3 different air tools. It's just nice removing what you can with them... makes working on the car a bit funner, rather than frustrating yourself.

I should have done it a long time ago. You can get a good impact wrench, and a tank for around $400 total. It's worth it if you change more than your oil.

.. BTW I swapped out all my belts when I did it, a fresh new set. My SC belt was pretty thrashed.
